Streamlining Support With Web ACD Technology

Streamlining Support With Web ACD Technology,ACD is short for Automatic Call Distribution which is also known as queue machine. It's obvious that it is the description of the entire call center system logic function. It can transfer the call to the right agents and supervisors at the table. One of the most important applications of the modern VOIP is based on a phone system. It is for the call centre management. These systems are largely responsible for the evolution of the call centre business. Besides, the centralized telephonic services are offered to the different companies. The people are trained in the whole processes. And once the training is finished, all the customer related telephonic queries are used by the people.

The Smart choice seats would be the first choice of ACD. It can deal with a batch of incoming calls. Then transfer the calls to the specified artificial agent. If the user enters customer service system at first time, manual transfer agent switching the user agent's phone call may be due to the artificial seat call volume.According to customer's requirements, the artificial agent transfers the automated voice response (IVR). Then the customers would tale to agents. The agent can accept the subscription, answer customers' questions or input customer information. The second one is Automatic Call Distribution. It can easily deal with some incoming calls. Also it can route them to send the required words to similar duties or skills of the group representative. Its performance will directly affect the efficiency of call centers and customer satisfaction. It is different from the modern call center's hotline system. And it becomes an important symbol of the automatic response system.

There are some major functions. At first,it has the function of a program-controlled switching. In essence, Automatic Call Distribution is a type of switch. The switch must have the most basic function of program-controlled exchange; And second, there is an ACD queuing function.Automatic Call Distribution must have the function of the traffic queue. The so-called line is busy under the case.Owing to the certain rules, the incoming calls can line up.Once the line is free, the calls will access inside. In addition, the routing of traffic can be transferred to routing rules of Automatic Call Distribution. It can be due to certain response of the agent's terminal or some other terminal such as IVR.ACD queues are divided into hard and soft line.If we use the hard line,it's good to enjoy the line switches and other hardware devices. It is reliable. While it may be at higher prices. Also it's necessary to open each agent licence. Soft line-up is based on software. It just needs to open a licence. The artificial agents connected via IVR. But the stability of the soft line-up is not enough.

Pinterest vs. Facebook On Twitter

Pinterest vs. Facebook On Twitter , Twitter users are more engaged with Pinterest than Facebook, according to data visualization community Visual.ly. In this infographic, see how @pinterest and @facebook compare in terms of demographics, number of followers, and interactions on Twitter.

Although Pinterest and Facebook have thriving communities of their own, each company maintains a strong presence on the microblogging site, where they can post updates that link back to their blogs. That’s because Twitter is where people go for news. (The exception of course, being Mark Zuckerberg’s double announcement of the Facebook IPO and his marriage to Priscilla Chan on his own Facebook page.)

To create this infographic, the Visual.ly team pulled data on each account from People Browsr and the Twitter API to create a side-by-side comparison of each social network’s followers on Twitter. Facebook still dominates the landscape with 4.06 million followers. Pinterest, by comparison, only has 832,700. (Neither company seems to follow very many people back.)

But Pinterest gets more mentions than Facebook, and also more mentions per tweet. In the last four weeks, Twitter users have mentioned the bookmarking site between 488,000 and 625,00 times. Facebook’s handle peaked at 132,000 mentions, with a low point of 83,000.

The chart doesn’t go into specifics of what people were talking about, but the newer company is definitely generating a lot of buzz relative to its size. See more statistics below.

Find Friends Nearby’: Facebook’s New Mobile Feature For Finding People Around You

Find Friends Nearby’: Facebook’s New Mobile Feature For Finding People Around You, Facebook has created a new feature that lets users find friends and potential friends nearby. Currently Initially called “Friendshake” and also accessible through a URL that is the abbreviation of “find friends nearby” (http://fb.com/ffn), it’s another step in Facebook furthering its reach into mobile, and creating services to meet new people — rather than building up more connectivity with the ones you already know. And, in keeping with Facebook’s emphasis on being as ubiquitous as possible, for now it’s not being delivered in a native app, but via the mobile web. Update: it’s accessible via Facebook’s mobile apps, too (see below the break for more details, including comments from the developer).

The service comes a little under two months after Facebook announced the acquisition of Glancee, a mobile app that helps users discover people near them with similar interests, whose three founders have now joined Facebook and closed down their app. It is not clear if Friendshake has been created out of that acquisition, or if it has been developed along an altogether different thread — or how the functions of the two may eventually dovetail. We first heard about the service from developer Roger Pincombe, who himself got the info from a Facebook developer at the Angelhack event going on this weekend: Facebook is a title sponsor, and at the San Francisco event (Angelhack’s taking place also in Seattle, Boston and NYC), and one of its engineers was on site showing off how the app worked with developers. The feature has not been officially launched, but it is live and visible for those seeking it out.

“He specifically said I should tell other people about it,” he told me in an email. “I (semi-jokingly) asked ‘even TechCrunch?’ and he said sure.” So here we are.For now, the app works like this. Users have to be logged into Facebook and also into the Friendshake URL, and then others who are near can pick each other up. You can see both your own friends, as well as those you may not know. For now it looks like the main purpose is to quickly add people who you meet at a specific event — like a hackathon, or a bar.As Pincombe points out, “Before, you would need to tell them your name, probably spell it for them, and then depending on how common your name is, you’d have to tell them which of the results is actually you. This makes it 2 taps if you save a bookmark.”

Update: Since publishing, the original FB engineer, Ryan Patterson, responded in the comments below, confirming what we’ve written here (original post follows after his quote):I built Find Friends Nearby with another engineer for a hackathon project. While it was originally called ‘Friendshake’, we settled on ‘Find Friends Nearby’ for launch (the URL was a little bit of a homage to the previous iteration).

For me, the ideal use case for this product is the one where when you’re out with a group of people whom you’ve recently met and want to stay in contact with. Facebook search might be effective, or sharing your vanity addresses or business cards, but this tool provides a really easy way to exchange contact information with multiple people with minimal friction.

And there is, of course, the potential of how this basic service could be further developed: finding people who are friends of friends, or who have flagged similar interests in their social graphs; and it potentially could be something to incorporate as a push service, rather than one you have to be activate to use every time. All of these features could make Friendshake into a Highlight killer — which can already do all of the above — and a lot more like Glancee, too.

But as with so many of these kinds of features, you have to wonder how and if it will be abused — random people you would like to shake off suddenly start asking you to friend them on Facebook, for example. However, it appears that, even if Friendshake is already publicly available, this is still a work in progress being tested out, and so we may see more controls getting put in place, in addition to the fact that you have to activate the service to use it. “To my knowledge, the few people here at AngelHack that the Facebook employee tested it with are the only people to know about it yet,” said Pincombe.

Moving images and media didn’t create any lag and we were able to play video on all four displays simultaneously.

Microsoft Surface Keynote Video

Microsoft Surface Keynote Video, While Microsoft has been extremely busy over the past twelve months in developing and announcing new features and additions to its software roster, many were anxiously wondering when the Redmond outfit intended to whet the appetites of the gizmo-loving faithful with some new hardware, and yesterday at the rather unorthodox MSFT gathering, the software maker delivered with aplomb by announcing a unique device which not only threatens the future of the struggling ultrabook market, but also lights the proverbial blue touch paper at the tablet market, which currently only really consists of Apple’s iPad.

We all suspected a new tablet would be unveiled, but nonetheless, what Steve Ballmer announced brought quite a few surprises, and as far as a genuine iPad competitor goes, Microsoft looks to have delivered the real deal.
