Anthony Davidson in the no8 Toyota Hybrid comes together with no81 F458 Ferrari driven by Piergiuseppe Perrazini at the end of Mulsanne exit. Davidson goes airborne, flips both and crash hard into the wall. Both drivers got out of the car on their own with Davidson receiving medical treatment.
The 2012 Le Mans 24 Hours was marred by a horrific crash involving a Toyota Racing TS 030 - HYBRID driven by Anthony Davidson. The British driver collided with the Ferrari 458 Italia of Piergiuseppe Perazzini while trying to pass the Italian.
The Le Mans crash saw Anthony Davidson's Toyota fly into the air and, fortunately, land on its tires. The crash came just as the Toyota team had taken the lead.
